BIHAR BUDGET 2015-16

The Bihar Government has increased the surcharge on Motor Spirit, High Speed Diesel Oil from 10% to 20%.

The Bihar State budget for 2015-16 was presented by Finance Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav on 12th March,2015. The government tabled a budget worth Rs.1.21 Lakh Crore for the fiscal year 2015-16, which includes plan expenditure of Rs.57,437 Crore and non-plan expenditure of Rs.63,259 Crore. No new taxes were announced in the budget. The budget focused on Education, power and social welfare.
