HARYANA BUDGET 2015-16
The State Budget of Haryana was presented by Haryana’s Finance Minister Abhimanyu on 17th March,2015. The budget was presented with a plan outlay of Rs.25,743 Crores for the financial year 2015-16. Finance Minister Abhimanyu mentioned that the state government is focused in bringing efficiency in collection of existing taxes.
The Budget Estimates for 2015-16 does not contain any proposal either for imposition of new taxes or for any upward revision of the existing tax rates.
To promote environment and soil health, VAT on bio-fertilizer is eliminated
VAT rates on LED Lights, pipe fittings and pre-fabricated steel structures is reduced to 5%, so as to encourage its use.
