Mizoram State Budget 2015-16

The Hon’ble Finance Minister Mr. Pu Lalsawta presented Vote-on-Accounts (VOA) for the year 2015-16 on 19th of March 2015.

The Finance Minister addressed that due to the replacement of the Planning Commission by NITI Aayog and also due to the transitory phase from Thirteenth Finance Commission to Fourteenth Finance Commission there was no time to generate a full-fledged Budget for the year 2015-16 and henceforth VOA was prepared for the mean time of April to June 2015.

The VOA reported by the Finance Minister held with the estimation of Expenditure of the Government for Rs. 32,77,22,61,000/- for the period from April to June 2015.
